Energy Performance Certificates
If you're thinking of selling or renting a property, then there's a high chance you will need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC for short). If your property requires an EPC, this is the only minimum requirement for you to put your property onto the market and must be carried out within 28 days of launching to market.
The rating is based upon the property's energy efficiency and can range from A-G, with A being the most efficient.
If you have purchased the property within the past 10 years, you may already have an EPC as they are valid for up to 10 years, however please note that the EPC may not consider any improvements you have made to your property's efficiency.
To save you time and hassle finding a reliable person, Minors & Brady are more than happy to organise this for you via our recommended assessor. The cost of this is £75+VAT.
